By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the latest Whirlpool terms and conditions at the date of your order.

You can purchase with full trust by using our website as Whirlpool is committed to protecting the confidentiality of personal data of its customers (e.g. name, address). You disclose such data to Whirlpool to be able to place an order and to have the delivery of the goods made to the right address. Concerning the correct treatment of your personal data according to the Data Protection legislation, please read our Privacy Notice which you find on our website as well.

Accuracy of Content
Whirlpool has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been described in a clear and complete way. All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT.

Availability
All products are subject to availability. If a product is out of stock, you will be unable to place it in your shopping basket. There may be occasions when the availability may be different to what is displayed on the site, e.g. when other orders have been fulfilled before yours. In this instance we will send you an email or phone you to advise you of the unavailability. 

Prices
All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at 20% , and all prices of Appliances are inclusive of delivery costs. Whirlpool reserves the right to change its pricing at any time. The price of goods purchased shall be the price set forth at the time of your order submission. Prices quoted over the phone may differ from those shown on our website. Delivery Charges are included in the price of any Appliance. Orders of Accessories or Consumables, when you are not purchasing an Appliance in the same order, will incur a delivery charge if your order totals less than £50. If you spend less than £50 (inclusive VAT) we will add a £3.99 (inclusive VAT) postage and packing charge.* If you spend more than £50 (inclusive VAT) delivery will be free of charge. Delivery charges cannot be refunded. If you have ordered Accessories with your Appliance, these may arrive separately on a different delivery.

At the time of purchase of your appliance, you have the option to select  collection of your old appliance, where we will remove your old appliance and dispose of it for you. Collection of your old appliance is free of charge.

Ordering Errors
You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on ‘Make Payment’
on the final page of our ordering process. 

Payment
We accept payment by Visa or MasterCard credit card or Visa debit card. Payment in cash or by cheque is not accepted. The agreed price has to be paid in full; there is no discount for immediate payment.

Reservation of title
Whirlpool retains ownership of ordered goods until the goods have been fully paid for by you.

Contractual Warranty
If any deficiency or defect occurs with the goods delivered by us, you have the right to claim for fulfillment of your order which can be repair or replacement of the product. Under normal circumstances we will replace the defective goods with a new one. This warranty is valid for 12 months from the delivery date. We will not charge you any costs which relate to any replacement within this warranty period. If you purchase an appliance/s from Whirlpool on our website, www.whirlpool.co.uk, you will receive the 1 Year Standard Manufacturer Parts and Labour warranty, plus an extra 5 Years’ Parts warranty on the appliance free of charge. The 6 years’ parts warranty period applies from the date of purchase of the appliance/s.

Liability
Whirlpool has established this website in a careful and professional way; if nevertheless any mistakes occur, Whirlpool will remedy them in a prompt and proper way; liability of Whirlpool for direct and demonstrated damages only exists by law if the damage is caused with the intention or gross negligence of Whirlpool.

Right to Withdraw / Information concerning the right of Withdrawal
As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item according to local and European Law within 14 (fourteen) days after the date the item is delivered. This applies to all items which are offered and purchased on this website. To withdraw from a purchase you must notify us by letter, fax or email to arrange collection of the item. There is no need to give any reason for the withdrawal however to exercise your right of withdrawal you must return the item in the same condition in which it was delivered to you within a 14 day period after giving notice. In order to ensure delivery to Whirlpool in the same condition, we will arrange for a carrier to collect and repackage the item in the dedicated packaging. Please note that you are liable for the delivery costs of returning the item to us.

If the withdrawal is made in the above manner, the purchase contract for the item is cancelled and we shall refund your money within 30 (thirty) days. The only exception would be if you have used the item excessively or improperly, i.e. not just tested if it is right for the intended purposes; in such a case you have to pay the loss value of the item and the delivery costs.

Applicable Law
These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance of the laws of England & Wales and the application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded.
Placing an order with Whirlpool
You can order selected Appliances and Accessories online, and Accessories via telephone.

Telephone Orders
When placing an order with us over the telephone, we will advise you immediately if the product is unavailable. You then have the choice if you wish to continue to place the order. When you place an order over the telephone we will process your payment and advise you of the order number. You will not receive written confirmation of the order. We will advise you immediately if your payment details are not authorised and will ask you to pay via another accepted method. We regret that we are unable to take orders through our Online Order customer service line for either Appliances or Accessories.
 
Website Orders
When placing an order with us on our website, we treat it as an offer to buy and will send an email confirmation of the order. If the order is accepted, the product will be dispatched at which point we enter into a legal contract with you. Payment is processed at the time the goods are dispatched. We have the right to choose not to accept any order; in this case we will contact you to advise you of this fact. 

Use of this website from outside the UK
Unless otherwise specified, the materials on this website are directed solely at those who access this website from the United Kingdom. Whirlpool makes no representation that any products or services referred to in the materials on this website are appropriate for use, or available, in other locations. Those who choose to access this site from other locations are responsible for compliance with local laws to the extent local laws are applicable.

Acknowledgement and acceptance of your order
Our presentation of the products/items on our website is only an invitation to you to give us an order to purchase any such item. We will notify you by email promptly to confirm receipt of your order. Our acceptance of your order will take place only after review of your order and a written confirmation of acceptance of your order will be sent to you.  At the latest, there is an implied acceptance of your order upon dispatch of the product(s) ordered. No contract is formed between you and Whirlpool until such acceptance occurs.

In the unlikely event that you need to escalate a complaint to Whirlpool (UK) Ltd. there are two ways you can contact us:

We endeavour to respond to emails within 2 - 3 working days & letters within 3 - 5 working days however, in some cases where we need to conduct some investigation it may take a bit longer.
