When placing an order with us on our website, we treat it as an offer to buy and will send an email confirmation of the order. If the order is accepted, the product will be dispatched at which point we enter into a legal contract with you. Payment is processed at the time the goods are dispatched. We have the right to choose not to accept any order; in this case we will contact you to advise you of this fact.
We can process payments from MasterCard and Visa credit cards, and Visa debit cards.
All prices on our website are in £ sterling and include UK VAT at 20% and are inclusive of delivery charges for Appliances. Order of Accessories or Consumables when an Appliance is not included in the same order may incur a delivery charge if your order total is less than £50. Prices quoted over the phone may differ from those shown on our website. Read our Terms and Conditions for more details.

We recognise the importance of security regarding credit card information you send us over the Internet which is why we use 3D secure to verify your payment with your bank. We take all the necessary precautions to protect our customers' personal information and to store it securely. We check your payment card when we receive your order. Payment is deducted when the order is dispatched. You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on ‘Make Payment’ on the final page of our ordering process. Sensitive information that is transmitted to us online is encrypted and transmitted to us securely. In addition, access to all of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted. Finally, the servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment. In order to help safeguard unauthorised use of your credit card we check the security code located above the magnetic strip on the back of your card.
Refunds & Returns
As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item according to local and European Law within 14 (fourteen) days after the date the item is delivered. This applies to all items which are offered and purchased on this website. To withdraw from a purchase you must notify us by letter, fax or email to arrange collection of the item. There is no need to give any reason for the withdrawal however to exercise your right of withdrawal you must return the item in the same condition in which it was delivered to you within a 14 day period after giving notice. In order to ensure delivery to Whirlpool in the same condition, we will arrange for a carrier to collect and repackage the item in the dedicated packaging. Please note that you are liable for the delivery costs of returning the item to us.

If the withdrawal is made in the above manner, the purchase contract for the item is cancelled and we shall refund your money within 14 (fourteen) days from your notice. The only exception would be if you have used the item excessively or improperly, i.e. not just tested if it is right for the intended purposes; in such a case you have to pay the loss value of the item and the shipping costs.
We will give you a full refund of the return charge, if you had to return the goods because of our mistake. These terms do not affect your legal statutory rights.
At point of delivery of your new Whirlpool appliance, we offer to collect your original appliance free of charge if desired. Please note, if you wish to return your Whirlpool appliance we are not able to return your original appliance.
If Whirlpool UK limited accepts your order, please allow us 7 to 10 working days to deliver the goods to you, subject to stock availability. However, in most cases the goods will be with you before that time. Delivery dates are only estimates and Whirlpool does not guarantee delivery within any such time and shall not be liable for any delay in delivery or performance. We deliver to the whole UK territory (except the Channel Islands) and use the means of transport that provides the best and quickest service for each area. If your product is lost or damaged in transit, you must make your claim in writing. Damaged products must be retained in case we need to inspect them. For failed deliveries, please wait 10 working days in case of delays. If you have ordered Accessories with your Appliance, these may arrive separately on a different delivery. If you have ordered an appliance directly from our website www.whirlpool.co.uk we will also collect your old appliance free of charge. Please note, we are not able to return your original appliance to you.
Delivery Charges & Times
All our prices for Appliances are inclusive of delivery charges. However, if you order an Accessory or Consumable (e.g. water filter) on its own without an Appliance in the same order, you may need to pay a delivery charge if your total order is less than £50. At the time of purchase of your appliance, you may have the option to select collection of your old appliance, where we will remove your old appliance and dispose of it for you. Collection of your old appliance is free of charge. Please note, we are not able to return your original appliance to you. Accessories & Consumables Delivery Charge - £3.99 If you spend less than £50 (inclusive VAT) we will add a £3.99 postage and packing charge. If you spend more than £50 (inclusive VAT) delivery will be free of charge. Delivery charges cannot be refunded.
Before ordering large appliances online, you should check that:
• The item will fit through your doors
• There is a clear path between the road and your doors
• Check that you have the correct fittings/pipework in place for any installation (Our carrier will not return to install a product if upon the initial delivery installation does not take place)
On the day of delivery, you should ensure that:
• There is a clear path through your home to where you want the appliance
• Your floors are covered to prevent scuffing
• Any delicate objects are put in a safe place
• You check the appliance fully
• You sign the POD – upon completion of a satisfactory delivery
